HISTORY

Judd Brothers is a family company with brothers John and Nick Judd running the business as partners.

The company started out 25 years ago, trading commercial vehicles and cars from the family home in Llanddewi Rhydderch, Abergavenny with just John & Nick working at that time.
 
Growth in trade and lack of space at home forced them to broaden their horizons and look for larger premises to trade from.  This led to the business moving premises in 1996 to The Bryn Garage in Penpergwm, where they rented the forecourt of the garage and a small office.  It was here that they increased their retail side. This expansion meant that help was needed in preparing the vehicles for sale and Steve Lowther joined the company in 1998, he remains the longest serving member of staff at Judd Brothers.

In December 2000, due to ever increasing business, Park Road Garage, Abergavenny was purchased. This expansion enabled Judd Brothers to offer vehicle repairs as well as sales therefore several new members of staff were needed – currently alongside Nick & John there are two secretaries and five mechanics employed, and of course Steve.

In September 2006, to complement our Service Centre, we acquired Abergavenny MOT Centre which is run and managed by Craig Judd a qualified MOT Tester and Volvo Master Technician. As well as doing vehicle MOT’s – AMC can service and repair to vehicles, including tyres, exhausts, brake pads etc.

Judd Brothers prides itself on its continuing high level of customer service and satisfaction.  We continue to be a friendly, family run business with a happy, welcoming workforce.
